What are Clearcorrect aligners?

Clearcorrect aligners are discreet orthodontic devices that help treat various types of misalignments. They provide a convenient, removable, and almost invisible alternative to braces.

The aligners are made of BPA-free plastic and are custom-made for every patient. Each tray is discreetly designed to move the teeth in small increments.

When are Clearcorrect aligners used?

Clearcorrect aligners are most commonly used to treat orthodontic issues such as spacing, crowding, and underbites.

The main benefit of Clearcorrect is they are virtually invisible. Unlike traditional braces, you can remove the aligners for eating, drinking, and flossing.

How Does ClearCorrect Work?

Clearcorrect treatment consists of the following steps:

  • You will set up a complimentary appointment with Dr. Saba where you’ll discuss your concerns and the treatment options. Upon the dentist's exam and findings, a Panoramic x-ray, photos and digital scan will be taken.
  • Once the aligners have been produced, the patient will return to the office to start their Clearcorrect treatment.
  • Aligners are worn 22 hours of the day and are removed to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Each aligner is slightly different from the previous aligner allowing the teeth to move over time.
  • Treatment time is dependent upon the complexity of the case and would be discussed at the initial appointment.  Upon completing of your orthodontic treatment, you will have a clear retainer to retain your new smile.

Are Clearcorrect aligners right for you?

Aligner therapy is a good option for many patients, but isn’t right for everyone. During your consultation at Walpole Dental, Dr. Saba will discuss your smile goals and concerns with you. They will also examine your smile and let you know whether you are a candidate or not. Aligner treatment is a popular choice for many adults who are self-conscious about the appearance of traditional braces. Aligners are also a great option for adults who can’t tolerate the inconvenience and difficulty of orthodontic braces.

Is Treatment Covered by Dental Insurance?

If you meet your policy's eligibility requirements, a portion of your Clearcorrect treatment may be covered. How much is covered depends on your lifetime maximum for orthodontic services.  You may also use an FSA or HSA towards your orthodontic treatment, and our staff will work with you to utilize its full benefits.

Call and schedule a consultation with Walpole Dental to know more about Clearcorrect aligners and other dental services provided at the dental practice.
